First Day of School!
| Picture Day- Volunteers Needed!
|
Join the RHMS PTSA to Make a Difference!Remember to signup for this school year and RHMS! (Your membership has to be renewed yearly and specifically for RHMS, please sign up today!)
There's no one-size-fits-all approach to PTSA. However you choose to engage, it's an investment in your child's future. PTSA can mean supporting your child's teachers and educational programs, advocating for issues that affect your child at local, state, and national levels, and fostering a more robust, diverse, and inclusive school community.
We extend an open invitation to every family to get involved with PTSA because together, we can achieve more.
Join us HERE!
Membership fees and donations are the lifeblood of our organization. Our annual "Royal Rumble" campaign, which is our sole fundraiser, will kick off shortly, but donating when you join is appreciated and simple.
Rose Hill PTSA organizes enrichment and wellness programs, recognition, classroom and club activities, and scholarship assistance that directly benefit our students and are not possible through public funding alone. By becoming a member and donating, you play a pivotal role in turning this year's goals into reality. Also, we welcome your suggestions for use of funds - just attend a meeting or reach out to us at fundrasing@rhmsptsa.org.
Collaboration between community members, educators, and students is key to student success. Join us now and donate to start making an impact!
For more information about the PTSA, please don't hesitate to contact me, Shiree Wright PTSA President, at president@rhmsptsa.org
We eagerly anticipate welcoming YOU as a valued member!

RHMS Science Olympiad Team #1 and Science Bowl have immediate openings. Science Olympiad Teams #2 through #6 are formalized only once each has a head coach, so those spots depend directly on volunteers stepping forward.
Assessment status
New students and incoming 6th graders have an optional assessment in the first week of September, conducted in the classroom during regular school hours. Watch the school newsletter for the precise dates. Questions cover biology, chemistry, physics, earth and space science, and mathematics. Send your contact details to science@rhmsptsa.org so you receive announcements
Volunteer for a head coach position
For parents and guardians. Science Olympiad Teams #2 to #6 are formalized only once each has a head coach, so this step is what turns a waitlist into a team. See the roles we need.
Practice
Science Bowl practice will run Fridays from 5 to 6pm.
Science Olympiad practice is coordinated with your teammates.

Picture Day is coming up! Students will have their photos taken for their student IDs and the yearbook. We will need a few people to help with directing students to available photographers and occasionally updating student information.
Reminder: All school event volunteers must have current district approval. Please see the LWSD volunteer page to apply for or renew your volunteer status if needed.
