Morning Drop Off Safety Volunteers first 2 weeks of school

Safety is a top priority at RHMS, and we need your help to ensure that students and families are safe in the parking lot.

We need volunteers to direct school traffic on campus during the first 2 weeks of school.  Please get a safety vest from the school office before your shift. 

Please refer to the maps and rules at the school website for drop-off and pick-up:  Map - Rose Hill Middle School (lwsd.org)

If you can help remind parents on these Safety Reminders:

• Limit your speed to 5 mph
• Slow down and watch for pedestrians at all crosswalks
• No opening car doors unless you are stopped in the “Drop off/Pick up Zone”
• No dropping off or picking up in the “Thru Traffic Lane”
• No dropping off or picking up in the “Bus or Parking Loop" (Yellow and Blue lines in the traffic flow graphic above )
• Drivers must remain in cars

PLEASE remember to renew your volunteer status with LWSD, a requirement for all volunteers!
